We at Walki have now used a new biobased hotmelt from Savotech on our big winder and we have seen that viscosity is lower and it is good for our system. The adhesion to our substrates has been fine. The spray pattern is excellent, and it was easy to adjust the system.
We also noticed that we were able to decrease the temperature which means longer service interwall. The lower temperature in our hotmelt tank also means improved safety for operators.
We have been able to reduce the CO2 emission with this new biobased hotmelt.
